Description

Outer Rocker Cap Patch Panel for 1965-1970 Mustang Coupe, Fastback, Convertible.

This is best used as a patch panel as it has no provisions for seat belt mounting. It is the inner portion of the rocker on a coupe or fastback. On a convertible it is the center portion which is typically not seen as it is sandwiched between the outer rocker and inner "U" shaped section.

-Dimensions: 73-5/8" x 5-3/4"

It's a good part

It's a good part overall. Had to make some adjustments but I got it welded on and it worked out OK.

Fast shipping

I ordered one of these to patch some rust on the inner passenger side rocker on my 1967 Mustang coupe. It was it shipped to me quick and was able to get it set up on my car with the help of a welder

Just a piece of flat metal, with breaks on either end

I bought these at the Spring at Carlisle, my mistake that I did not check what they had in the box. This is a flat piece of steel with breaks on the ends. No stamped indents as the originals, No weld nuts for the seat belts. In other words you wont have any way to put you seat belts back in without first drilling the plate, and then welding in a nut. There is no structural support, just a flat plate of flimsy metal. For a few dollars more buy the Dynacorn, In no way is this worth the money, I bought as a set and now I have to spend more money and buy the right parts.
