Mods -- What fits what?

Have a '67 Mustang Conv. w/ standard interior. Would like to go to the deluxe interior w/ alum inserts in doors but I would custom cut and finish a Mahogony wood panel to go in the doors, dash, etc.

I know there are wood kits but these are printed paper fakes. Want a dash like a high-dollar Mercedes. What to you think?

Also is the deluxe brushed alum dash really aluminum or is it metalized plastic? Would like to get away from the metalized plastic.

There are actual (real) wood insert kits out there to fit early cars. I know KAR in Ohio sells them and I have seen them on other websites as well. I believe they are avaiable in rosewood. Do a search and I'm sre you can find it or check out KAR's website (www.karmustang.com I think)
