Does anyone know where I can get some decent, but cheap pony wheels. Preferably white but whatever...OR some Cobra R's. These have to be 4 lug. I'm in Montgomery. Let me know anyone!

Also, What's the backspace on a factory '87 GT. Discs on front, drums on back...just like from factory. Is it 4.25???

A while back I saw some really good priced ones on ebay. They were from a ebay store with 98% good feedback at the time. Watch for good deals there, you might be surprised.

Yea! Thanks. I've been looking at them the past couple of weeks on there. I could get them shipped with tires to my house for $940. Not bad...not bad at all, BUT just want to make sure no one has the same thing from around the AL, TN, GA, MS, FL area...so I could come get them and such!

I belive I saw a set on performancemustangs.com. Also you can get them from ANY resto company. Yes, they will have 4 lug. And yes, she has drum brakes in the rear. I know you can get a disk conversion from 5.0 resto for farly cheep along with a 5 lug conversion if you want to go that way. Up to you boss!

Thanks tons. Just found the cheapest for 4 of them at wheelreplicas.com out of Texas. I'm in Montgomery and they'll ship me the whole set with a free lug nut kit at my door for $630. Can't beat that I don't think. Pelham Tire here in Montgomery is owned by my buddy and will put on some 255/40's on with mounting, balancing, valve stems and labor for $500. So total, I'm looking at around $1,100. Can't beta that. And that's the price with everything. Just got to finish collecting the "dough", now. THanks..peace

I picked up some 93 cobra polished 17" rims from WheelReplica's for $630 shipped to my door, these have the 5.0 backspacing machined on them so they look right on a regular 5.0 too I like them becouse all the stangs around here have cobra R's and I like to be alittle differant

I am in the market for some 16X10's or 17X10 cobra r's if I can find them.

yeah, but I don't know if they have the rims like mine on the site yet, I got them threw a test market deal with Corral.net
