CAMSHAFT BEARING SET ROLLER 69/71 429 & 460 (FRPP)
Ford Racing Camshaft Bearing Set, Roller for 1969-1971 Mustang & Cougar 429, & Ford 460.
Roller bearings require less effort than standard bearings, for more power & reduced wear & heat. Low-friction, roller cam bearings only require oil splash lubrication (Oil feed holes can be blocked off, to reduce oil aeration & windage losses). Block must be machined to accept a 2.5" outside diameter bearing, width is .625". The inside diameter of the bearing is 2.125", therefore these bearings utilize a production size outer diameter cam (SAE 8620 steel is required). Fits both Cobra Jet & Boss, they share the same cam bore.
